Auburn students come from many different backgrounds and have interests and passions as unique and exciting as they are. Whether those interests and goals are intellectual, social, recreational, cultural, multicultural, or spiritual in nature, there is a place and a community for your student here at Auburn University.

Office of Student Involvement

The mission of the Office of Student Involvement is to engage and empower students by providing developmental opportunities that enhance individual learning and leadership through a diverse, student-centered environment.

Involvement Ambassadors

Involvement Ambassadors serve as a resource for any student or student organization seeking assistance in finding opportunities for involvement. They provide one-on-one consultations with students as well as workshops for larger groups.


AUinvolve provides a listing of campus events and news as well as a directory of the more than 400 campus organizations. Students have the option of searching for organizations by category and finding more information on groups that interest them.

Black Student Union (BSU)

The Black Student Union (BSU) represents the interests and concerns of black students at Auburn University and seeks to bring together all aspects of black student life for the purpose of improving the campus environment.

Student Organizations

The Student Organizations provides opportunities for students to get plugged in with more than 400 registered student organizations. Student Organizations are designed to maximize and enhance the Auburn experience.

International Student Organization

The International Student Organization (ISO) mission is to improve multinational understanding and promote relationships between people of different cultures. The ISO also helps ease the process of adaptation for international students and promotes diversity and beneficial interaction between the international students and American students.

Leadership and Service

The purpose of Leadership and Service is to promote community service while enhancing student’s leadership development.

Student Government Association

Auburn University’s Student Government Association (SGA) represents the Auburn student body within the university administration and the community. SGA advocates the interests of Auburn students and works to better the student experience through community events and initiatives.

Student Media

Student Media is committed to providing broadcasts and publications that are current and relevant to AU students. There are various outlets with which your student can get involved including the following: literary magazine, yearbook, radio station and broadcast news and entertainment show.

University Program Council

The University Program Council (UPC) is a student-led programming board consisting of 11 committees that bring a variety of events to Auburn’s campus. These events are planned and executed by students for students.

Welcome Week

Welcome Week is designated as the “official” period to welcome Auburn University’s new and returning students to campus fall semester and to the Auburn Family! The week is packed with more than 50 events on campus ranging from the Block Party, pep rally, free movie, to outdoor activities, community service events, and class tours.

Office of Greek Life

The mission of the Office of Greek Life at Auburn University is to serve as an advocate and resource for the Greek community and provide our students with opportunities for personal growth and development.
